Hi, this is Anne with SVG Cut File, and today Im going to show you how to break apart a welded design or a compound path in Cricut Design Space. All right, lets get started. OK, there are two ways to do this. First, lets try the contour way. So Im going to open Cricut Design Space. Ill just resize the window. Ill come down here to Upload, and then Ill go up here to Upload Image. Im going to browse and find it on my machine. And its right here. Well choose the SVG file and Open. All right, Im just going to save it, and then Ill choose that one and Insert Images. And as you can see, its just one layer. This has all been welded together. So to separate it the contour way, Im just going to make a copy of it. Ill hit CMD C, and then CMD V on my keyboard. If youre on a PC, that would be CTRL C and CTRL V.
