[Music] so thank you all for coming Im Rebecca Gayle Ive been a photographer since I was about 11 years old I started shooting weddings in 2012 we were just chatting earlier my first wedding in New York was the weekend of Hurricane sandy Im trial by fire Im very fun I can tell that story later but I started in photography as a kid traveling just loving documenting things as I was going along and I started assisting different photographers and I grew up in LA and the LA area and decided to go to NYU to be a fashion photographer that was my plan and I worked for a bunch of fashion photographers and very quickly realized that was not what I wanted to do so I did a pretty sharp turn and what I was studying gonna take these offices I feel like theyre jangling a little bit um sorry what I was studying at school was the photographers whose work had really created dramatic social change in the u.s. people like Lewis Hine and Jacob Riis the FSA photographers Walker Evans Dorothea Lange I
