When youre setting up documents in Microsoft Word, its frustrating to print the edge of the paper. You create the perfect cover document, but when you go to print or save as PDF - you see awful white margins remain. This video will show you how to set up your document to print your design to the edge of the paper in Microsoft Word 2013. First, go to page layout. Next select size and scroll down to more paper sizes. For U.S. letter set the custom size to 9 1/2 inches wide and 12 inches high. For an A4 paper set the custom size to 236 millimeters wide and 322 millimeters high. It may give you an error message - pick ignore everythings going to be fine. Your page is now resized. Youll want to recenter your design to make sure it takes up the full eight and a half by 11 inch space. Your printer will disregard the outer edges in order to fit it onto the page, so be sure you dont have any critical content around those outer edges. Then youre ready to print or save to PDF! Theres

Word 2013 - 2021 Select the text you want to copy and press Ctrl+C. Place your cursor where you want to paste the copied text and press Ctrl+V.
Windows users: Copy: Ctrl+C. Cut: Ctrl+X. Paste: Ctrl+V.
Cutting: The process of cutting is used to move text or objects in a document. Cutting takes an existing item in a document, removes it from its current location and stores it on the clipboard. The item can then be pasted elsewhere in the document (or even in another document) as long as it remains on the clipboard.
When the aspect ratio of the image does not match the paper size and [Borderless] is selected, part of the image will be cut off when printed. Confirm that the paper size matches the image aspect ratio before printing.
The most common cause of this problem is that the bottom margin, footer margin, or page border is outside the printable area of the page.
Setting Your Printer Choose "Printing Preferences" from the pop-up menu, then look at the setup options your print driver provides. Usually, there will be one called "Layout" or "Page Layout." Once you've clicked "Layout," you should have the option to manually set your margins to zero.
Do one or both of the following: On the Indents and Spacing tab, change the Line spacing box to something other than Exactly. For example, change the Line spacing setting to Single. Change the At setting to a setting slightly larger than the font point size you are using in your document.
In Word 365 for Windows, go to File | Options | Advanced | Show Document Content | Crop Marks.
Most common problems that occur are: Line spacing of the text is set to an exact height. In case the document shows 'Exactly' in the line spacing settings, it can happen that the measurement set is equal or less than the height of the font. This may cause characters to not show or being cut off.
The most common cause of this problem is that the bottom margin, footer margin, or page border is outside the printable area of the page. All printers have an irreducible unprintable area necessitated by the mechanical requirements of paper handling.
