My name is Dylan and today weamp;#39;re going to go over how you can easily transfer libraries from yourself to another Final Cut Pro user. Heres how you do it. First, youre going to open your library browser. Press control command 1 to get that open. Or you can press this guy right here. Youre going to select the library that you want to send, go to file, and head down to delete generated library files. Sending your library to someone with projects that are rendered or footage thats converted to proxy files or pro res files, is going to result in huge, huge libraries to send. It can be done, but itll take so long to upload and download. So you want to delete all of your render files, optimized media, and proxy media. Dont worry, this isnt a destructive step because you or the editor youre sending the library to can just re-render or re-transcode the footage if need be. Look at that

MATCH CUT. This is used when the ending image of one scene matches the beginning of the next.
How to Write an Intercut The first scene: insert a scene heading followed by actions and a dialogue (John). The second scene: insert a new scene heading followed by actions and a dialogue (Kate). Insert the intercut on a new line: INTERCUT JOHN/KATE. Add alternating, the two characters talking.
Match cut: A match cut is a transition between two scenes that features an overlap of audio or visual features. This can be the shape of objects in the frame, characters faces, a sudden action, or an audio cue.
You write jump cuts in a screenplay by writing CUT TO: as an editing direction on the right-hand side of your script. Then you write the new action or location below in a new line.
Em dashes (not to be confused with hyphens or ellipses) are used to indicate that a speaker has been interrupted mid-sentence by another character. The em dash should be placed directly after the final word the speaker gets out before being interrupted (with no extra space) and inside the closing quotation mark.
You write a cutaway in a script by writing CUT TO: on the right-hand side of a screenplay. Then when finished, write BACK TO: also on the right side to return to the scene.
The Purpose of Transitions CUT TO was a simple direction that stipulated the literal cut from one scene to another usually, but not always, referring to a location change as well. In older scripts, you would find such a transition between every new scene.
