were cutting out the sarah crossbody bag which i just bought from lady crafts on etsy just using my scan and cut to cut this out and its just going really really really really fast taking out the parts that i dont want my cutter to bother with and there we are ready to go well cut it out i have the scan and cut 225 sdx this is all auto blade technology i dont have to tell the blade how deep to cut or any kind of pressure it just tests the bat and the material that im trying to cut and it cuts whatever i pretty much it has cut whatever i have asked it to and in bag making ive used cork vinyl leather ive even had double layers of like vinyl and fabric when ive made tassels um this is a wonderful little machine so im just scanning it in so if i get a pattern that doesnt have an svg file i dont have to worry about it i just scan it in and im telling it here to ignore anything [Music] i dont know lets call it over two inches lets see lets get up here to two inches oops the

Select the image layer you would like to work with either on the Canvas or in the Layers panel. If the layer is not set to Print then Cut, select the Operation dropdown in the top toolbar and change it to a Print then Cut item. Select the color swatch and choose Pattern from the Print type drop-down.
Over time fabrics cut on the cross grain will droop more than then fabric cut on the straight. Its not a problem for something like a skirt or pants made from a border print. The droop wont be noticeable in the normal lifetime of the garment. You might see it in heavy curtains, though.
Pattern Layouts Pattern preliminaries. Be sure you have all the necessary pattern pieces. Spread out fabric carefully. Choose a cutting layout. With-nap layout, lengthwise fold. Without-nap layout, crosswise fold. Lengthwise double fold. Grainline and layout. Anchor the pattern to the fabric.
Pattern cutting refers to creating basic patterns, with your specific measurements, which you can adapt to make different designs. Since the final product is based on your measurements, the fitting is much better as compared to the ready-made patterns you buy.
