hey guys crystal here at crystals crafties and in todays tutorial im going to show you how to create an outline in cricut design space this is really really easy and really really quick and you can do it all completely within design space so let me hide the little example i had up there so first thing you want to do is just pull in your text and i used the word outline this is in a font that i have downloaded into design space its austin hearts i can link to that if you love this font um cricut has kerned the font for me but sometimes with fonts that are downloaded into design space you still have to weld them so im going to go ahead and weld that okay so heres our starting point now we dont want to just put the um you know the background layer behind it we dont want to just do the normal offset we want an actual outline with a hollow space in the middle so what youre going to do is select your word and then come to the offset feature you want a very small offset i believe cri
