Steps for highlighting specific parts of the image in Powerpoint The first thing you should do is open Microsoft Powerpoint and go to the slide you want to add your image. Choose the part of the image you want to highlight. Now, go back to the insert tap. Draw the shape on the area you want to highlight.
Select the shape you want to edit in your Microsoft 365 file. Then go to Picture Format tab on the ribbon Crop. Select the arrow under Crop to customize your shape. To resize the picture so the entire picture area is filled, select Crop Fill.
