hello my name is liam quinn and iamp;#39;m with delightful computing today iamp;#39;m going to be talking about parsing text with xslt3 thank you very much for being here for listening for having me some logistics the slides are available in a variety of formats and typefaces at delightfulcomputing.com talks and then the one that iamp;#39;m projecting with is i am the fell from the list there and iamp;#39;m using it partly because i like it and partly because the irregularities may help dyslexic people okay slide three this is this talk is not an introduction to parser theory you donamp;#39;t need to know computer science parser theory for this talk iamp;#39;m going to be talking about ad hoc parsing rather than strictly grammar based parsing what i mean by parsing essentially is reading a text file and picking out some information a full parser picks out all of the information and it may do that based on a set of rules like an xml schema a grammar it may well be written by a pie
