Cutting and pasting is almost the same as copying, with the exception being that cutting removes the selected data from the original cell. Select the cell(s) you want to cut. Click Edit on the menu bar. Select Cut.
Cut, Copy, and Paste operate exactly as when used in Windows File Explorer. Cut removes a file from one location and places the file in the location to which you Paste. Copy creates an additional copy of the file, making no changes to the original file, and places that copy in the location you Paste.
To delete a section break in Google Docs you can: Open the Google Doc. Click at the end of the final paragraph before the section break you want to delete. Press Delete in Windows or Fn + Delete on a Mac. You may need to repeat this to remove any additional spaces.
When you cut text, it is removed from its original location and placed in the Clipboard. Select the text you want to cut. Click Edit on the menu bar. Select Cut.
Copy does not delete the original text. Cut removes the original text from the document. Beware, the cut text only remains on the clipboard until it is replaced.
Its possible that the page settings of your document are causing the bottom half of the page to be cut off. To check the page settings, click on File and then Page setup. Make sure the margins and page size are set correctly.
