weamp;#39;ve already gone over how to get a flavor or an odor out of your board now letamp;#39;s talk about how to get out a stain here weamp;#39;ve got something thatamp;#39;s left kind of like an orange tint itamp;#39;s got some particles on top so weamp;#39;re going to start and you can take like i said earlier a scraper or the edge of your knife you just want to hold it at an angle and get that stuff stuck to the surface off of there now if it leaves a little color you can sprinkle a little bit of baking soda over the top of it a little tiny bit of water and you just really want to make a paste you want to scrub that paste around put a decent amount of pressure behind it really scrub it into that stain and all around the edges and if you look it will start to actually lift that color right out of there so once you feel like itamp;#39;s scrubbed in there pretty well just leave it alone let it sit and let it do its job in a couple of hours you can come back rinse the board off

If you notice a drip or run in a finish that has started to set up, its best to let it dry before removing it. Once its dried, dont just try flattening it with sandpaper, which risks sanding through the adjacent area. Instead, slice the drip level with a razor-sharp chisel (Photo J).
Wood stain is a colorant that is applied to wood to alter its natural color. While sanding can sometimes be all it takes to get the job done, some old stains are stubborn and have simply penetrated the wood too deeply for sanding to be an effective solution. Removing stain from wood is a simple DIY project.
Washable fabrics: Work from the back of the fabric, flushing it with cold water, then apply an enzymatic laundry pretreat (see the CR Quick Take, below, for a top-rated choice). Rub a little laundry detergent into the stain and launder using the warmest water the label recommends. Repeat until the stain disappears.
Pretreating by rubbing a little detergent directly into the spot often helps, as does using a dry-cleaning solvent on the stain.
Flushing. To get rid of loosened staining components and any leftover stain-removal agent residue, flushing is utilized. This is a crucial phase in the procedure, since any chemicals that are left in the material run the risk of causing more stains or harming the treated item.
Apply white vinegar to the area, let it soak in for a couple minutes. Pour salt onto the stained area, then work it in with your fingers. Put the garment in the sun and let it air dry. Wash as usual. Check to see if the stains gone, repeat the steps if not.
1. Act quickly scrape off solids with a blunt knife and blot liquids with absorbent paper. Never spot-clean any stain with hot or warm water as it can set the stain.
The first rule of successful stain removal is to act quickly. The longer you leave the stain on your clothes, the harder it will be to get out. If you cant immediately treat the stain, try blotting it with cold water until you can properly treat it later.
