(upbeat music) - [Jess] You can crop an image to a shape. Iamp;#39;m going to select this entire image and with the image selected Iamp;#39;ll change to the picture format tab. The crop tool is all the way on the right hand side of the screen. Iamp;#39;ll click the down arrow, hover my mouse over crop to shape, and now I can find a nice shape that this picture will look good in. I want to choose an arrow, one thatamp;#39;s good with a tech company like Red30. I will choose this chevron that looks like an arrow going forward. My image gets cropped to that shape. Now the neat thing about this is that I can use object layering and position this with another image. Iamp;#39;ll click insert picture from this device. Use the crop tools in PowerPoint to trim and remove unwanted portions of pictures, or to crop a picture to fit a shape. If you want to change the outline of a picture and make it a shape (like a circle or a star), use the cropping tools on the FORMAT tab under PICTURE TOOLS.
On the toolbar, select Picture Format Remove Background, or Format Remove Background. If you dont see Remove Background, make sure you have selected a picture. You might have to double-click the picture to select it and open the Picture Format tab.
Select the shape you want to edit in your Microsoft 365 file. Then go to Picture Format tab on the ribbon Crop. Select the arrow under Crop to customize your shape. To resize the picture so the entire picture area is filled, select Crop Fill.
