How to cut off space in OSHEET

To remove the large space above footnotes in Word, we first of all go to the Home tab and in the Paragraph section we activate the formatting symbols. Because now we can see what is causing the huge empty space, its actually a bunch of empty paragraphs before the footnotes. To remove this extra space, we go to the View tab and activate the Draft view. Then we go to the References tab and click on Show Footnotes. In the bottom window, we now open the dropdown and select Footnote Separator. And as you can see here we have all these empty paragraphs, that we can simply delete. Once that is done, we go the View tab again reset the view to the standard Print layout and with that, the space above the footnotes is gone. Remove extra spaces On your computer, open a spreadsheet in Google Sheets. Select the data range that youd like to remove extra leading, trailing, or excessive spaces in. At the top, click Data Data cleanup. Trim whitespace.
Use the Trim formula to remove extra spaces Add the helper column to the end of your data. In the first cell of the helper column (C2), enter the formula to trim excess spaces =TRIM(A2) Copy the formula across the other cells in the column. Replace the original column with the one that has the cleaned data.
The change of trim in centimeters is calculated as the trimming moment divided by 100 times the moment to change trim by 1 cm. This moment is approximately equal to the displacement multiplied by the height of the longitudinal metacentre above the center of buoyancy, divided by 100 times the ship length.
The TRIM function in Excel removes extra spaces from text, leaving only single spaces between words. It cleans up data by eliminating leading, trailing, and intervening spaces, useful for data imported from other sources. The function uses the formula =TRIM(text) and only removes ASCII space characters.
Specify the cell reference containing the text you want to clean. For example, input =TRIM(A1) to clean the text in cell A1.
For the forward draft the similar triangles present yield the following expression TRIM/L = dTF/(LCF+L/2), solve this for dTF to obtain dTF = (TRIM/L)(L/2+LCF) = TRIM(1/2+LCF/L), then apply the following formula from geometry to obtain the forward draft TF = TLCF - dTF = TLCF - TRIM(1/2+LCF/L).
=RIGHT(text, LEN(text) - n) This formula works by first calculating the length of the entire text, then subtracting the number of characters you want to remove. The RIGHT function is then used to extract the remaining number of characters from the right end of the text string.
On the Formulas tab, click the Text dropdown menu in the Functions group and select TRIM. After the dialog box appears, click on the cell that contains the text you would like to remove spaces from to complete the function. Click OK.
