If you want to show edits made in a document, turn on Track Changes. Select Review, Track Changes, and Word captures any edits you make. To turn off Track Changes, select Track Changes. Word stops making new edits, and any made stay in the document. You can always see markups that someone makes. Select Display for Review and select the option you want. Simple Markup points out where changes are with a red line in the margin, All Markup shows all edits with different colors of text and lines, No Markup hides markup to show what the incorporated changes will look like, and Original shows the document in its original form, and in the Show Markup list, you can select the type of revisions youamp;#39;d like to see, such as Comments, Insertions and Deletions, Formatting, Balloons, and Specific People.

How do I get rid of the red line in Word track changes? The redline indicates there are still changes in the document that need to be resolved. Navigate to the Review tab and click Accept, then Click Accept All Changes and Stop Tracking.
Simplest method is to accept all changes under Track Changes. That does get rid of all trace of the markup but makes the changes permanent. Otherwise, on the Reviewing tab, change the view for Track Changes to No Markup. Note that the change tracking will still be there, you will not see it.
This red line is there because there are still changes in the document that need to be accepted (which can be minor changes like double spaces or a wrongly placed comma). Step 1: Go to the Review tab and click on Accept (Word 2019). Step 2: Click on Accept All Changes and Stop Tracking.
The only way to get rid of them is to accept the changes. If you want, save an archival copy with the markup. To completely get rid of the markup, you have to accept all changes and then turn off the tracking. On the Review tab, click the arrow on the Accept button and then click Accept All Changes and Stop Tracking.
Replies (1)  Click on the menu (three-dotted) button in the top-right corner. Click on Settings. Click on Options. Under the Proofing section, turn on the Hide spelling errors toggle switch.
