How do I stop a video in PowerPoint? Stop a video in PowerPoint by clicking the pause button in the playback controls during a slideshow.
Its possible that the slide timings are set to advance after 10 seconds, which would cause the audio to cut off. To check the slide timings, go to the Transitions tab and look for the Timing section. Make sure that the After option is set to a value that is longer than the length of your audio.
