okay so letamp;#39;s solve this problem so how to interpret a likert scale result so first we need to have this categories so example we have one for strongly agree two for agree three three four neutral four for disagree and five four strongly disagree then from this Katie goris so we can find out the range and to find the range so from the highest value or the highest number thatamp;#39;s five then minus the smallest value or the smallest number thatamp;#39;s one and five minus 1 thatamp;#39;s equal to four so the range is equal to 4 then from the range we can find now the interval and to solve for the interval so from the range thatamp;#39;s four divided by the highest number thatamp;#39;s five so 4 divided by 5 so we have 4 divided by 5 equals so thatamp;#39;s 0.8 and just use two decimal places so 0.80 so the interval is 0.88 then to create now the likert scale so starts with the smallest value so we have one and thatamp;#39;s 1.00 so two decimal places then for the upper

Social Communication Questionnaire, Lifetime Version (SCQ) Total scores range from 0 to 39, with higher scores reflecting the presence of more symptoms.
The Lifetime version yields a Total Score that is interpreted with reference to cutoff scores. Scores above the cutoff of 15 suggest the individual is likely to be on the autism spectrum and a more extended evaluation should be undertaken.
Results consist of a total score between 0 and 54, where higher scores indicate that many characteristics of ASD were reported. A score of 13 and above indicates ASD is probable, with a true positive rate of 90% and a false positive rate of 22% (Ehlers, Gillberg, Wing, 1999).
Each line indicates a scale from 0-10, inclusive of decimals, with 0.0 as the furthest left point and 10.0 as the furthest right point. Points selected on the left indicate a lower score, whereas a point selected on the right indicates a higher score. The SRS cut-off is 36.
A score of 18 or above would indicate symptoms of health anxiety. A score of 19 or above would indicate symptoms of social anxiety. A score of 60 or above would indicate symptoms of agoraphobia. A score of 8 or above would indicate symptoms of panic disorder.
The SCQ form yields a total score that is interpreted with reference to a cut off score of 15. A number of studies suggest using a cut off score of 10 in order to ensure the inclusion of children who are more higher functioning (Allen et al., 2007; Barnard-Brak et al., 2016).
SCQ is available in two forms (Lifetime and Current), both of which have 40 yes-no questions. Items-level scores 0 or 1 are determined by caregivers report of no or yes answers. The answer to item 1 dictates which items are to be added to determine the Total Score. If yes to Item 1, then add Items 2 to 40.
SDQ total scores of 17 and above are considered to be abnormal. Raw scores are used in the analyses reported here. Clinical cut-off raw scores for the subscales (out of a possible 10) are: Emotion 5, Conduct 4, Hyperactivity 7, Peer Problems 4, Prosocial Behavior 4.
