This is the Formatting Formula. Removing the Portrait page after a Landscape page. Hereamp;#39;s thescenario. Someone sent you a document and you need to remove the Portrait page after the Landscapepage. Here are the steps. Double-click in the Header on the Portrait page after the Landscapepage. The Link to previous is active. Click on it. Now go to the Footer on the same page. Click the Link to previous. Now this page is not linked to the previous page. Go to the Layout tab and in the Orientation, select Landscape. Page 2 and 3 are now Landscape. Now go to page 2 and with the Show/Hide active, delete the Section break at the bottom. Now you should not have a Portrait page after the Landscape page.

Use different orientations in the same document Select the pages or paragraphs whose orientation you want to change. Click PAGE LAYOUT Page Setup dialog box launcher. In the Page Setup box, under Orientation, click Portrait or Landscape. Click the Apply to box, and click Selected text.
Click the picture. Click Picture Tools Format, and in the Size group, click the arrow under Crop. From the menu that appears, select Aspect Ratio, then click the ratio that you want. A crop rectangle appears, showing you how the picture will appear when cropped to the selected aspect ratio.
Open up the Navigation panel by selecting the View tab and making sure the Navigation panel box is ticked. When the sidebar on the left opens, select Pages to show all the pages in your document. In the Navigation panel, select the blank page you want to remove. Press the Delete key on your keyboard.
If that fails, try this: Click the View tab from the Ribbon and select (check) the Navigation Pane in the Show section. Now, click on Pages, and select the blank page thumbnail in the left panel. Press your Delete key until it is removed.
Here is the most basic approach: Go to your unwanted blank page in your Word document, click as close to the bottom of the page as you can, and press your Backspace key until the page is removed.
Step 1: Go to the page following the blank page. Step 2: Place your cursor at the start of the text on that next page, before the first word. Step 3: Press Backspace or Delete on your keyboard. This should move the text from the following page up to the blank page, thus eliminating the blank page.

Delete a page in Word Click or tap anywhere in the page you want to delete, press Ctrl+G. In the Enter page number box, type \page. Press Enter on your keyboard, and then select Close. Verify that a page of content is selected, and then press Delete on your keyboard.
