my name is nir John mmed Iamp;#39;m an undergraduate senior studying computer science and today Iamp;#39;m presenting uh closing the general relation gap of cross Silo Federated Med medical image segmentation the authors are primarily from Nvidia the exceptions are the first author um who is studying at University of Pittsburgh and was interning at Nidia when the work was performed um p f from John Hopkins University and hang hang from University of Pittsburgh um interestingly these authors have worked on many other papers that weamp;#39;ve discussed in class like unet uh swin unet and self-supervised pre-training of swin Transformers so I thought that was an interesting connection um so as we all know uh deep learning models have shown success on various computer vision tasks in recent years um but training these models uh to generalize well on unseen test data requires a lot of data and in the medical setting a single Med a single institution may not always have enough data for th
