This demonstration covers the editing of a Schematron schema, using oXygen XML Editoramp;#39;s Content Completion Assistant and predefined code templates. Due to its complex processing engine, oXygen is the only XML editor that offers an error management mechanism capable of pinpointing errors in XPath expressions. This feature coupled with the ability of finding errors in the included schema modules, make oXygen the best choice for Schematron development. In our demonstration we need a Schematron schema which checks a number of rules for a DocBook document. These rules can be classified as: 1. Critical requirement rules - The number of words from an amp;quot;abstractamp;quot; element should be between 1 and 100. - The number of items in a amp;quot;listamp;quot; should be between 2 and 10. 2. Best practices rules - The number of words from an amp;quot;abstractamp;quot; element should be between 3 and 80. - The number of items from a amp;quot;listamp;quot; should be between 3 a

ANSWER. By default when the payload is empty, there will be self-closing tags generated in the output XML. This can be replaced by open and closed tags by setting the directive inlineCloseOn to never within DataWeave for the output as follows.
Empty element tags are acceptable for any element that has no content, whether or not it is declared using the keyword EMPTY.
It is illegal to omit the closing tag when you are creating XML syntax. XML elements must have a closing tag.
The main content of an XML document consists entirely of XML elements. An element usually consists of a start tag and an end tag, with plain text content or other XML elements in between. A start tag is of the form and an end tag has the form .
Inside the tag delimiters, start-tags consist of the element type name and perhaps element attributes; end-tags consist of a / (forward slash) followed by the element type name; and empty-tags begin with the element type name and end with a / (forward slash).
All tags in XML or XHTML can be used as self-closing by closing them with (). HTML5: Using a slash is absolutely optional. HTML4: Using a slash is technically invalid. However, the W3Cs HTML validator still accepts it.
The xs:pattern facet element is used to derive new simple types by specifying a regular expression against which values of the type are compared. It applies to all simple types. The schema regular-expression grammar is quite similar to that used in Perl 5.6 and later.
An XML element is required to have a closing tag. With XML it is illegal to omit the closing tag. An XML element can be closed in two possible ways; non-empty closed element and empty closed element.
