hello everyone my name is Ian Lan Iamp;#39;m the author of Google Drive in docs in 30 minutes and today Iamp;#39;m going to be talking about printing in Google Drive and Google Docs and this may seem like a basic question um you know you just want to print out a document maybe you need it for homework or for report or whatever but uh thereamp;#39;s some difficulties in getting it done and Iamp;#39;m going to explain what the difficulties are and then also how to get around some of these particular issues now the first thing that I see happen a lot with people who are trying to print out a Google Docs document is they end up with something like this this is a Google Docs file itamp;#39;s from a homework assignment and at the top of the screen there are some extra information appearing in the header so the title appears here and then also a URL appears up here and of course when youamp;#39;re printing out a homework assignment or a report you donamp;#39;t want that these things to

Change page setup of a Google Doc On your computer, open a document in Google Docs. In the toolbar, click File. Page setup. At the top of the dialog window, select Pages. Go to the setting you want to change: Orientation. Make your changes. Click OK.
Its possible that the page settings of your document are causing the bottom half of the page to be cut off. To check the page settings, click on File and then Page setup. Make sure the margins and page size are set correctly.
To undo an action, simply click on the backward arrow icon. Alternatively, you can use the shortcut Ctrl + Z (Command + Z on Mac).
The documents margins may be larger than the selected paper size. The document is not formatted for printing.
How to change margins in Google Docs using page setup Go to docs.google.com. Click File and then select Page setup. Enter the widths you want for the Top, Bottom, Left, or Right margins of your page. Click OK. Optionally, if you want to use the same page margins for all your future documents, click Set as default.
Open a Google Doc. Click under the page break. On your keyboard, press Backspace or Delete until the page break is removed.
