There could be a number of reasons. Check your margins, header/footer size and line spacing (text gets cut off if line spacing is set to a specific number of points and is smaller than text size. Set to single).
Keep words on the same line Click where you want to insert the nonbreaking space. On the Insert tab, in the Symbols group, click Symbol. In the box that opens, click More Symbols. In the Symbol dialog box, on the Special Characters tab, click the Nonbreaking Space row to highlight it, and then click Insert. Click Close.
If youre experiencing issues with margins in Microsoft Word, follow these steps to resolve the problem: Check page layout: Go to the Layout tab and click on Margins. Ensure that the selected margin option aligns with your requirements.
Cause of fonts being cut off in Word Most common problems that occur are: Line spacing of the text is set to an exact height. In case the document shows Exactly in the line spacing settings, it can happen that the measurement set is equal or less than the height of the font.
Click the bottom arrow in the Top text box in the Margins section. Keep clicking this arrow to decrease the value to 0 and raise the top margin. You can also type 0 in the Top text box. The Preview box displays this new margin setting.
Reason. If the paragraph line spacing in Word is set to Exactly some value, and if that value is too small to enclose the equation, this causes Word to place the equation behind lines of text, thus obscuring parts of the equation.
The zoom percentage that the document is set to may cause characters to have the top or bottom portion of the screen font cut off. You can adjust the zoom percentage from 75 percent to 100 percent in most cases to correct this visually.
