Edge Guides: Appear when an objects edges align with the edges of another object. Center Guides: Appear when an objects center aligns with another object or the center of the page. Spacing Guides: Indicate when three or more objects are placed equally apart in a line.
In the Format sidebar, click the Style button near the top. If the text is in a text box, table, or shape, first click the Text tab at the top of the sidebar, then click the Style button. In the Alignment section, click the alignment buttons you want.
Select the text you want to copy or cut. Do one of the following: On a Mac: Press Command-C to copy the text or Command-X to cut it. On a Windows computer: Press Control-C to copy the text or Control-X to cut it.
To show or hide these guides on document pages, choose View Guides Show Page Template Guides or Hide Page Template Guides (from the View menu at the top of your screen).
