To Create a Full Section View Click Layout tab Create View panel Section drop-down Full. Click the view you want to use as the parent view. Click in the drawing area to indicate the start point of the section line. Click in the drawing area to indicate the end point of the section line.
You create a section view in a drawing by cutting the parent view with a cutting, or section line. The section view can be a straight cut section or an offset section defined by a stepped section line. The section line can also include concentric arcs.
Change the margins of a standard plotter page size: Select Properties to the right of the selected Printer/Plotter in the PAGESETUP or PLOT for single plot dialog. Select Modify Standard Paper Sizes (Printable Area). Select the desired paper size, then Modify. Change the margins as desired.
In the section for Plot scale, check the option for Fit to paper. In the section for Plot offset, check the option for Center to plot. If the layout has the title block and drawing setup for the paper size, select the option Extents from the drop-down for What to Plot under Plot area.

To Draw a Section Line and Marks On the default tool palette set, click the Design tab, and then click the Vertical Section tool. Specify the start point of the section line. Continue to specify points to define the section line, if needed. Specify the endpoint of the section line, and press Enter.
