How to open an IPYNB file. Jupyter Notebook on your workstation. Click the Upload icon (located towards the right-hand corner of the screen) This should open a pop-up window where you can browse for and select the IPYNB file you wish to open. Once you have located your IPYNB file, click Open
Description and main features. The toc2 extension enables to collect all running headers and display them in a floating window, as a sidebar or with a navigation menu. The extension is also draggable, resizable, collapsable, dockable and features automatic numerotation with unique links ids, and an optional toc cell.
A table of contents is auto-generated in the left sidebar when you have a notebook, markdown, latex or python files opened. The entries are clickable, and scroll the document to the heading in question. In the sidebar panel, you can number headings, collapse sections, and navigate into the file.
You can easily enable the extension by running the command jupyter nbextension enable toc2/main in the terminal, or ! jupyter nbextension enable toc2/main from a notebook cell. You can also use Nbextensions configuration (under in the top right corner).
Add table of Contents in Jupyter Notebook We will use the Markdown cell available in the Jupyter Notebook for the Table of Content. Select the cell and go to Menu options Cell - Cell Type - Markdown.
To display all dataframe columns in a Jupyter Python Notebook, you can use the pd. setoption() function from the Pandas library. This function allows you to set various options for displaying dataframes, including the maximum number of columns that are displayed.
For Jupyter Notebook 7+ it also comes built in now, and you can show the Table of Contents in the Left Sidebar by toggling it on.
