Alternatively, use Ctrl+8 (Windows) or Command+8 (Mac OS). Use the toggle switch to show or hide all comments. Alternatively, use Ctrl+Shift+8 (Windows) or Command+Shift+8 (Mac OS).
Step 2: Remove Comments from PDFs Click the Comment icon on the left sidebar to enter the annotation mode. Tap on any of the comments, and right-click it. Then you can tap on the Clear option. Finally, your selected comment will be removed instantly.
Single-click on the area of highlighted text you wish to remove. A small toolbox will appear with two options, allowing you to change the color of your highlight or delete the highlight altogether. To remove your highlight, click the trash can icon.
Saving PDF files without notes and highlights Choose File Export. Select PDF from the File Format popup, select the Without Notes option, choose a location to save the PDF to, and press OK.
The document has restrictions and commenting is not allowed. To check the document restrictions, navigate to File Properties Security. Please contact with the author who send you the document to ask for a new version of PDF file without security settings before you could add comments in newly received PDF file.
Here is the procedure to do so in docHub: Open the PDF in docHub. Go to the Comment pane on the right. Click on the Options menu (the three dots). Choose Hide All Comments. If you cannot find this option, simply hit CTRL + SHIFT + 8 key.
I go to the Preferences in Acrobat, in the Commenting category. I then uncheck the show comments pane when a PDF with comments is opened, then hit the OK button and preferences closes.
