In general, the Medicare program pays ASCs 80 percent of the lesser of the actual charge or the ASC facility payment rate for the covered services performed. The beneficiary pays 20 percent of the lesser of the submitted charge or the ASC facility payment rate for the covered services performed.
Truncated card data refers to credit or debit card information that has been shortened to display only a portion of the full card number. Typically, this involves replacing all but the last four digits with placeholders, such as asterisks or Xs, to protect sensitive cardholder data.
Here is an example for better clarity regarding the IIN. Suppose your credit card number is 5526 7184 3412 3720. If the credit card issuer uses a 6-digit IIN, then the IIN for your card will be 552 671. If your credit card issuer uses an 8-digit IIN, then the IIN for your card will be 5526 7184.
The Credit Card Identification Code, or Card Code, is a 3 or 4 digit Security code that is printed on the back of credit cards in reverse italics in the card signature panel (or on the front for American Express cards).
The first six or eight digits of a card number (including the initial MII digit) are known as the issuer identification number (IIN). These identify the card issuing institution that issued the card to the card holder. The rest of the number is allocated by the card issuer.
You can find your credit card billing cycle listed on your monthly statement. Youll notice the start and end dates for your billing period are typically located on the first page of your statement, near the balance. Your card issuer may list the number of days in your billing cycle, or youll have to do some counting.
Bank Identification Number, or BIN code, refers to the initial sequence of four to six numbers that appears on a credit card. The number is used to identify the cards issuing bank or other financial institution. The BIN number ties an issuer to all the cards it issues, and to all the transactions on those cards.
The first six or eight of those digits represent the issuer identification number. The remaining five or seven digits in the IIN indicate the bank or other financial institution that issued the card. (In recent years, newly issued IINs have consisted of eight digits, while earlier ones had six digits.
