welcome back in todayamp;#39;s Tech tip Iamp;#39;ll be showing you how to turn captions on or off on your TCL Google TV so what you want to do is go to settings you can either press the settings button on your remote or just navigate the way Iamp;#39;ve shown you and on the settings page go to system select that under system you should see accessibility select that and at the top of the accessibility options it should see captions so select that and then you choose the type of captions currently I only have streaming and other content Iamp;#39;ll select that and then Iamp;#39;ll choose uh to turn on by selecting display or turning on the Tule button next to display and you can see an example of what the captions will look like down there okay and then to turn off disable that togle button now with the captions on you can change a few things okay you can change the language text size uh the caption style or you can even select your own custom style for captions but that is basicall

The subtitle feature is enabled by pressing the SUBTITLE (CC) button on the TV remote control. This feature is available on TV broadcasts and apps (subtitles may not be available for some TV broadcasts and apps).
Activating Closed Captions From the Home screen, navigate using the TV Remotes directional pad and select Settings. Choose General, then Accessibility. Select Caption Settings, and toggle Caption to turn it on or off.
If you see a button labeled CC, click it. If a pop-up menu appears, select the English option. To turn closed captioning off, click the CC button. If a pop-up menu appears, select CC Off.
When closed captions are on, audio is displayed as text on the screen (speech and sounds are transcribed into text). During playback, you can turn closed captions on or off by choosing the Audio and Subtitles button (speech bubble).
The below step may help your situation. Check your TVs remote control: Look for a dedicated button labeled CC, Subtitles, or Closed Captions on your remote control. Press that button to toggle the closed captions on and off. Sometimes, this button is located within a menu or settings section of the remote.
On your connected TV Go to ABC iview and go into your ABC Account. (If you are not logged into your ABC Account go to Settings). Go to the CLOSED CAPTION menu option and toggle between ON/OFF using your OK or select button on your TV remote control.
Change Live Caption settings On your device, open Settings . Tap Sound. Live Caption. Under Settings, you can find or change these settings: Turn Live Caption on or off. Hide or show profanity. Hide or show sound labels, such as laughter and applause. Hide or show the Live Caption icon in volume control.
