this would be a box issue, not a tv issue, so take your cable box remote and look for a button labeled Captions, CC, or Subtitles, and press that to toggle the feature off. If that doesnt do it, go into the box settings menu (may be under a section called Accessibility), and turn off captions/toggles there.
Accuracy: Captions must relay the speakers exact words with correct spelling, punctuation, and grammar with 99% accuracy and no paraphrasing. Captions must honor the original tone and intent of the speaker. Captions must match background noises and other sounds to the fullest extent possible.
