when requesting a partial day off there are a few extra steps to take that we will go over in this video after you have specified what leave type and date you are requesting click on the button labeled show advanced options a chart will appear to the right with the time requested outlined before you now you have to adjust the number of hours that were automatically calculated you can do this one of two ways one way is to click on the number 7 and adjust it to the number of hours youre requesting then click save the second way is to enter the start and end times you will be off lets do that now notice the system will automatically adjust the total number of hours being requested if everything is correct click save you have now successfully requested a partial day off
