In this session, we will create a cut and fill earthwork exhibit for a proposed fast food restaurant site plan. The drawing shows two surfaces: one labeled "survey" that reflects existing conditions, and another labeled "plot" representing proposed grading. Using the object viewer, we can visualize the grading surface. To calculate the earthwork, we will navigate to the analyze tab and select the volumes dashboard. Here, we will create a new TIN (Triangulated Irregular Network) volume surface, which reflects elevations based on the differences between the existing and proposed surfaces.
