Cut-and-Stack Labels Simply put, these are labels that are printed in bulk on large sheets, cut, and stacked. The gluing process is mostly handled at the packaging stage. For instance, in the case of postage stamps or envelopes, licking activates the glue and makes it possible to stick on the desired surface.
Duty Drawback is a trusted and time-tested scheme administered by CBIC to promote exports. It rebates the incidence of Customs and Central Excise duties, chargeable on imported and excisable material respectively when used as inputs for goods to be exported.
Duty Drawback Scheme: Customs Act 1962 If the imported goods are re-exported within two years from the date of payment of duty on the importation, then exporters can claim 98% of the duty paid.
Through cut labels are not attached to a roll or paper sheet like roll labels are. Instead, the surface and carrier material of the label is cut through, which means the labels can be handled individually. This is particularly useful if the labels are intended to be given to someone or inserted in a package.
Sometimes the maker would cut the tag because they wanted to keep people who might buy it at a discount and attempt to return it for full price to a fine department store. Sometimes the maker would cut tags because the garment was slightly irregular.
This is a very common question we get asked. Die Cut means that the sticker is cut around the contour of your design. Unlike stickers in the standard shapes of a circle, square, or rectangle, die cut stickers will be completely customized to the shape of your artwork.
In the world of printing, a Die refers to a thin, razor-sharp steel blade that has been formed into a specific shape or pattern (sort of like a heavy-duty cookie-cutter). Consequently, Die-Cutting refers to the act of using this sharp die to cut paper, cardstock, labelstock, or other substrates into various shapes.
