Fine Cut The fine cut no longer focuses on the entire film, but on the details of each and every cut. The fine cut emphasises and strengthens the rhythms and structures identified in the first cut.
A rough cut is the first edited version of a film, usually without sound, music, or titles.
Most modern CGI or Flash, Harmony, or puppet animation is done on 30 frames per second. There are a few that are done on 24, but I think the majority is on 30. But traditionally, animators worked on 24 frames per second.
Those five stages are: beta readers, self-editing, story editing (which you may know as developmental or content editing), copy editing, and, finally, proofing.
10 different types of video cuts Standard cut. The standard cut, also known as the hard cut, is a classic editing technique where one scene goes to the next with no visual transition. ... J-Cut. ... L-Cut. ... Jump cut. ... Cross-cut. ... Parallel editing. ... Match cut. ... Cutting on action.

CGI is created using different methods: Using algorithms can create complex fractal patterns. 2D pixel-based image editors can produce vector shapes. 3D graphics software can generate everything from simple primitive shapes to complex forms created from flat triangles and quadrangles.
3D animation is more similar to playing with puppets rather than drawing. 3D animation, also referred to as CGI, or just CG, is made by generating images using computers. That series of images are the frames of an animated shot.
Another type of cut, one which precedes the rough cut, is the assembly cut. The assembly cut is a stitching together of all of the shots gathered for the entire film with minimal editing done to them.
The first cut is the rough cut that is accepted by the editor, the director and the producer. Selection and sequence are basically fixed, although changes can still be made. The later film is visible. Detailed fine cut starts out from its proportions, structures, rhythms and emphasises them.
