okay Jennifer this is for you you want to go from a solid to an outlined of your lettering and Ill just show you how its going to cut and you notice this has one cut line and this has two cut lines um so well go back to that first what Im going to do just so you can see whats going on is clear the coloring off so Im going to select my lettering and then Im going to go to my offset and Im actually going to do an internal offset um and as you see Ive got uh a double pattern there and Im going to go ahead and make it a compound path just cuz I make everything a compound path and Im going to go ahead and fill it to show you where it came to and here will be your cut when you check youll see theres two cut lines and you just weed out the center part hope this has helped
