Do one or both of the following: On the Indents and Spacing tab, change the Line spacing box to something other than Exactly. For example, change the Line spacing setting to Single. Change the At setting to a setting slightly larger than the font point size you are using in your document.
Here are some of the more common reasons you cant copy or paste in Windows: Windows has an unresolved bug. The software youre copying from or pasting to has a bug. Multiple apps are trying to use the clipboard at the same time.
If there are conflicting add-ins or extensions running in the background, you may be unable to take advantage of the copy-and-paste functionality in Word. Running Word in safe mode is an effective way to rule out problems related to add-ins/extensions.
When copy and paste isnt working on your Mac, make sure to check your keyboard is connected properly, and that theres nothing lodged in the keys. You should check your Macs keyboard settings like this: In System Settings, select Keyboard in the sidebar, then click Keyboard Shortcuts.
In Editing view you can cut, copy, and paste text and pictures within the document by selecting text or a picture just as you do in the Word desktop application. Press Ctrl+C to copy, Ctrl+X to cut, or Ctrl+V to paste the text or picture (Windows); or press ⌘+C, ⌘+X, or ⌘+V (Mac).
Try it! Cut. Select Cut. or press Ctrl + X. Paste. Select Paste. or press Ctrl + V. Note: Paste only uses your most recently copied or cut item. Copy. Select Copy. or press Ctrl + C.
