hello my name is Bernankes and today im gonna show you how to create the cutout text effect in PowerPoint you can already see in the heading what were going for and next step is Im gonna show you how its done step by step now the first step is to add a proper object I go for a rounded rectangle I make it about that size the next step is to add a text box go to insert and select the text box here that size and then choose a proper font thats very important and lets make a subscribe button here lets call it subscribe and were almost done now select both objects the text box and the rounded rectangle and go for drawing tools format and merge shapes here and for combined and here we have it its very important to notice both objects are gone in order branded rectangle and the text box transformed into one object so keep that in mind and in some cases its probably better that you make a copy of both objects before hand also what I recommend furthermore is did you add some effects
