so hello and good evening this is Ruth pasola Frankie welcome and today Im going to show you how to read zip files in power query without actually unzipping them first so were going to basically unzip the files inside power query this is something that they I was asked to do a couple of weeks ago so I thought I will give it a go today so if you dont know how to do it and you need to this is a quite common scenario where you know youre exporting zip files from systems and then reading them in power bi so now you know how to do it stay tuned so this was asked actually by Dereks mayors and it was in the power bi app and he asked me if it was possible to export the data that is saving a womans file and perhaps I wont answer these and probably had an expert but I will definitely show you how to read zip files in power bi without extracting them before this is what we will do in this video so if you dont know how to do it stay tuned so I actually did a quick search online to see if
