[Music] hello everyone Im attorney Nathan Howser and in this video I want to talk about common issues that occur in workers compensation very often Im contacted by injured workers who tell me that they were sent to a workers compensation clinic by their employer and that the doctor that they saw has sent them back to work and they are still in pain and they do not feel ready to go back in most cases when somebody gets hurt at work the employer will send the injured worker to a medical facility called an industrial clinic industrial clinics are known in California for several things for doing poor evaluations at the time of injury for not requesting diagnostic studies to help determine the gravity of the injury oftentimes injured workers will not be evaluated by an actual doctor but rather a physicians assistant and more often than not the injured worker is sent back to work too soon when they are not medically or physically able to do so the issue in my opinion is about the quality
