On the keyboard, press Ctrl + J to enter the line break character -- NOTE: Nothing will appear in the Find What box. Press the Tab key on the keyboard, to move to the Replace With box. Type a space character.
To cut data, select the cell or cells you want to cut and use the keyboard shortcut Ctrl+X (hold down the Ctrl key and the X key at the same time).
When you cut a cell, its content is removed from the original location and placed in the Clipboard. Select the cell or cell range you want to cut. Click the Cut button on the Home tab. Press Ctrl + X. Click the cell where you want to paste your data. Click the Paste button. Press Ctrl + V.
The first thing to do is to use the TRIM function. Click in a cell and begin typing =TRIM( followed by clicking on the cell that you want to clean up. Press Enter and copy the formula down by double-clicking the bottom-right of the green outline with the left mouse button.
Remove all cell borders Select the cell or range of cells where you want to remove the borders. On the Home tab, under Font, click Border. , and then click No Border.
The keyboard shortcut option to remove the gridlines is to press Alt and enter W, V, G. The command will remove the gridlines if they are visible or make the gridlines visible if they are not visible.
Note: Maximum print size for Print Then Cut is 6.75 in x 9.25 in (17.14 cm x 23.49 cm) on 8.5 in x 11 in (Letter) paper, and 6.51 in x 9.93 in (16.54 cm x 25.22 cm) on A4 paper. Clicking the Change Page Size link opens the Settings page where you can select a different page size for Print Then Cut.
Remove other lines Click the chart with the lines, and then click the Chart Design tab. Click Add Chart Element, click Gridlines, and then click More Gridline Options. Select No line. You can also click the line and press DELETE .
Select the cell that contains the formula you want to move. Click Home Cut (or press Ctrl + X). Select the cell you want the formula to be in, and then click Paste (or press Ctrl + V).
Split a sheet into panes Select below the row where you want the split, or the column to the right of where you want the split. On the View tab, in the Window group, click Split. To remove the split panes, click Split again.
