hi there again youtube ac dodd and this time were going to be looking at uh some operations on the milling machine and uh this particular one is valve seat cutting the head weve got today uh is a job for a customer whos just brought this in hes put some new guides in it my task was to uh bring the guides out and then uh re-cut the seats and as you can see if you look at that uh exhaust seat there thats in quite poor condition so this is a 940 head um for a large bore mini so 1275 engine rather than the smaller ones uh and this particular head uh is is fitted with the 35.7 intakes and 29.4 exhaust its completely standard so its just in for a refresh effectively the customer doesnt want unleaded inserts fitted in this particular casting i think its going to be a low use application so it doesnt really matter in this particular case but as you can see its already suffered with some some recession due to being used on unknown fuel so this will need an additive anyway thats not
