Pages is like a Word or a Microsoft Works program that allows you to write things. So Iamp;#39;ll touch on it and it opens up all of the documents that I have. For example, I have a folder here called amp;quot;Intro to Emailamp;quot;. So Iamp;#39;ll touch on it. It will open up all of the email or all of the documents within that folder and Iamp;#39;m just going to scroll down until I get to amp;quot;How to Attach a Document to an Emailamp;quot;. Its here on the left on the top row. If I touch it, it opens up and youamp;#39;ll actually see some directions about how to attach a document to an email for a Mac. As you can see, it says open a new email like we did in the other program (which was Gmail). We filled out the email just like we did as usual. We put a amp;quot;Toamp;quot; person, we put the subject, and it automatically prepopulated the amp;quot;fromamp;quot; . We clicked that paperclip icon, which here is in the top of the email screen. Cut Press Command-X on your keyboard to cut the selected item. Or choose Cut from the Edit menu in the menu bar. Or Control-click (or right-click) the item you selected, then choose Cut from the shortcut menu.
Mask (crop) a photo Double-click the image. The mask controls appear. The default mask is the same size as your image. Use the controls to frame just the parts of the image you want to be visible. Click Done.
To quickly reuse text, copy it in one location and paste it to another. Select the text to copy. Choose Edit Copy (from the Edit menu at the top of your screen), or press Command-C. Note: If you want to remove the text from its original location, choose Edit Cut instead.
In the Markup toolbar, toggle on Show Markup. Select the Text tool from the toolbar and click or draw on the document where you want to add the text box. Click inside the text box to add your text. Change the text size and color using the icons in the toolbar.

For a PDF or scanned document: Click the down arrow next to the document title, then choose Markup. If you dont see the down arrow, Control-click the PDF or scanned document, click View As, then choose Medium or Large. For an image: Click the Action pop-up menu , then choose Markup.
To cut and paste on a Mac, select the item you want to move, press Command+C, then press Command+Option+V to move it to a new location. You can also access the move command in the Edit menu once youve copied a file by holding the Option key.
Control-click anywhere in the body of your message, then choose Insert Drawing. In the Mail app on your Mac, move the pointer over an image or PDF you added to your message. Click the Action pop-up menu that appears in the upper-right corner of the attachment, then choose Markup. Or simply Force click the image.
