hey all Tommy posts here today were going to talk about a homemade arrow cutting device contraption you can make it yourself usually with scraps that are just hanging around your house or if you want to run to Home Depot you can get some stuff and do this thing for probably about 20 bucks its not fancy but it does work alright so here it is basically what we have we have about a three-foot piece of two by six pressure treated its heavy makes a good base nice and solid over here weve got a little dremel cutting tool yeah look at those fancy screws holding it in place that dremel tool was available on ebay for I think I got it for like twelve or thirteen bucks and it came with a whole gaggle of different cutting tips and abrasion wheels and you name it comes with it bargain multi speeds on and off other side anyhow you can see its just kind of pinched into place I could have got a lot more elaborate by putting little bands over those but you know what that sucker solid as a rock I

A good rule of thumb is to cut it no shorter than the middle of the riser. At full draw, your arrow end would sit right in the middle of the shelf. The best way to determine how long you want your arrows to be is to nock a full-length, uncut arrow and draw it back.
