welcome everyone to this video today im going to walk you through how to quickly and easily select multiple files and folders here in mac os and so right now i have the finder open and so obviously to get started you can just click on a single file or folder and it will select it if i click off it will deselect it now if i just want to quickly select everything hold down the command button and the command key is this key right here so im going to hold down the command button and then click on a as in apple and you can see that it selects everything if i continue to hold down the command button and just select on a single file it will deselect it while keeping everything else selected i can also click off to deselect and i do have the option to click and drag to select files and folders if id like to do so but please keep in mind that if i click on this 7 file and hold down the shift key and then click on 2 you will notice it does not select everything in between and thats because o
