one of the more useful and long overdue features that microsoft included in windows 10 is the ability to make a pdf in windows 10 you can make a pdf out of pretty much anything that youre able to print it does this by using a virtual printer and the best way i can explain that is just to show it to you so im going to go ahead and bring up this document that i created its nothing special just says test document and im bringing this up in library office writer but this process works fine with any program that is able to print whether it be microsoft word whether it be your email program or a website or whatever so im going to click on the print icon and notice that it has my printer name listed here but instead of using that im going to click on it and im going to change that to microsoft print the pdf thats the virtual printer and then ill say okay so instead of a piece of paper coming out of the printer its asking me for a file name and this is the name of the pdf i want to
