Annotating on a Mac View the annotation options by navigating to Tools Annotate and select the option you would like to use. You can also show the markup toolbar at the top by selecting View Show Markup Toolbar. Highlight, underline, draw and add notes to the document. Once you are done, make sure to save.
On your Mac, do any of the following: Select an item: Click the item. For example, in the Finder, click the icon for a document, folder, app, or disk. Select multiple items: Press and hold the Command key, then click the items (they dont need to be next to each other).
In the Safari app , you can mark up a webpage, highlight your favorite parts, draw and write notes, and share your document as a PDF with others. Tap Markup , then use the tools to annotate the webpage. Tap Done, then follow the instructions to save the page as a PDF.
Use Mac Markup tool from Quick Look Right-click on an item. Click on Quick Look from the context menu. Select the Markup icon from the top of the window. All available Markup tools should show up.
In Safari, navigate to the online website you want to annotate. Click on the Double A in the address bar. Select Show Reader to put the website into Reader View which eliminates visual distractions. Click on the Share icon in the top right corner, scroll down and click on Markup.
Mark up files on Mac When using Quick Look on your Mac, click the Markup tool . Or when using Quick Actions, choose Markup. Use the tools listed below to mark up an image or a PDF document on your Mac. The tools that are available vary depending on the type of file. When youre finished, click Done.
Safari is its own app for web-browsing, and downloading articles from web-sites etc. Then click on a blank document, or click on any other kind of document style from those displayed. Hit the small create button on the bottom right, and your document appears.
