This video tutorial demonstrates how to apply Google Sheets conditional formatting across an entire row by selecting a range of cells and inserting a check box. After inserting the check box, navigate to the Format menu and choose Conditional Formatting. In the "Apply to range" field, input the range in A1 notation. Under the "Format cells if" dropdown, select "Custom formula is" and enter "equals($Q2)" in the value or formula box. You can also use "equals($Q2, true)" for the same result. Q represents the column with the checkbox. Customize the formatting using the formatting style box, then click Done to apply the formatting to the check boxes and verify if the formatting is correct.
