Gary from MacMost.com introduces the TextEdit app that is included with your Mac. MacMost is supported by a community of over a thousand patrons. TextEdit is a simple word processing tool that allows you to create and edit text documents. It is lightweight, easy to use, and powerful because it uses standard cross-platform formats like plain text or rich text files, rather than a special format. TextEdit is not included in the dock by default, but can be launched like any other app using Spotlight search.
