In this video, Im going to take you through the basics of Excel charts. Youre going to learn how to insert a chart, how to adjust one, how you can improve your chart, how to add more series to your chart, and how you can create combination charts. (soft music) Now Ive been given this data set and Ive been told to visualize this. To insert a chart, all I have to do is to highlight this, go to Insert, and click on a chart from here. If Im not sure which chart to pick, I can click on Recommended Charts and Excel gives me some proposals. So lets say I want to go with a bar chart, I just have to click on it and press OK. I had highlighted the data set before so lets say I didnt do that just somewhere in an empty cell. And I go to Insert and I insert a column chart. I just get an empty canvas because the data is missing from here. But notice what happens in general when you insert charts. You get this Chart Tools options activated here. And in Excel 2013 and 16, youre given two tab

Deployment and release are two terms in software engineering that are often used interchangeably. However, they are different! Deployment is a shift of software from one controlled environment to another. On the other hand, releases are a collection of changes for users to experience.
Lets start with creating a public Helm chart repository. Step 1: Create a folder and a GitHub repository. Step 2: Clone the GitHub repository. Step 3: Add robots.txt at the root location of the repository. Step 4: Package your Helm chart. Step 5: Finally, create the index.yaml file for the Helm repository.
The Helm client and library is written in the Go programming language. The library uses the Kubernetes client library to communicate with Kubernetes.
You can use the helm native commands to achieve this. In helm, there is a command called helm template . Using the template command you can convert any helm chart to a YAML manifest. The resultant manifest file will have all the default values set in the helm values.
Helm chart releases A release is an instance of your selected chart running on your Kubernetes Cluster. That means every time that you a Helm chart there, it creates a new release or instance that coexists with other releases without conflict.
Helm was originally developed by Deis, a firm dedicated to helping the Kubernetes Ecosystem, which was later acquired by Microsoft. Deis, as a fun fact, is also one of the original sponsors of The Childrens Guide to Kubernetes.
Helm is a package manager for Kubernetes that makes it easy to take applications and services that are either highly repeatable or used in multiple scenarios and deploy them to a typical K8s cluster.
Deploy the Helm Chart yaml file and generates the manifest files. Then it will send these files to the Kubernetes API server, and Kubernetes will create the requested resources in the cluster. Now we are ready to the chart. You will see the output as shown below.
SEE ALSO helm - The Helm package manager for Kubernetes. helm get all - download all information for a named release. helm get hooks - download all hooks for a named release. helm get manifest - download the manifest for a named release. helm get notes - download the notes for a named release.
Helm uses a packaging format called charts. A chart is a collection of files that describe a related set of Kubernetes resources. A single chart might be used to deploy something simple, like a memcached pod, or something complex, like a full web app stack with HTTP servers, databases, caches, and so on.
