To get started, create a new file called generatepdf.php in the web root folder and add the PHP opening tag. The tutorial uses the dom pdf package, which can be installed using composer. By running the composer require command in the web root folder, the dom pdf library and its dependencies will be installed. To load the package files, requiring composer's autoloader is the simplest way. Finally, a new object of the dom pdf class can be created to generate the pdf.

How to create PDF files: Open Acrobat and choose Tools Create PDF. Select the file type you want to create a PDF from: single file, multiple files, scan or other option. Click Create or Next depending on the file type. Follow the prompts to convert to PDF and save to your desired location.
