Highlight the text that you wish to hide and select the Font Color icon from the Font section of the Ribbon. Change the color to the same color as the background of your slide. Your text will now be hidden.
Click anywhere on your slide, hold down your left mouse button and drag it to create a star large enough to cover the object you want to overlay. For example, if you want to overlay a heading, make the star large enough to surround the heading.
Select the text, open the FONT dialog, view the CHARACTER SPACING tab. Change the spacing option to CONDENSED, which essentially is negative spacing (so the 20 pt used is really -20 pt). The result is the text slightly overlaps and the transparency overlap creates a dynamic visual.
Add a text box with overlay text Open the slide on which youve inserted the video. On the Insert tab, in the Text group, click Text Box. Point to the area on the video where you want the text to appear, and then drag to draw the text box over it. Enter the text in the text box.
How to put text over an image in google slides Step 1: Access the Text Box Option. Initiate the process by navigating to the toolbar situated under the menu bar. Step 2: Draw the Text Box Over the Picture. Step 3: Type Into the Text Box. Step 4: Embrace Creative Fusion.
You need animation, just select the items you want to appear and apply an entrance animation. Click on the animation tab on the ribbon, click custom animation in the animations group, click add effect, entrance and choose from there.
Apply the Clipping Mask: Right-click on the text box, select Format Shape, and then navigate to the Fill section. Choose the Picture or texture fill option, and select your image or shape as the fill source.
Designing effective text overlays It requires consideration of font styles, sizes, colors, and background contrast to ensure readability and visual harmony. Key practices include using legible fonts, maintaining a balance between text and image, and ensuring the overlay complements the overall design.
