For example, editing a document, article, or blog that requires formatting, images, etc is best accomplished using a RichTextBox. A TextBox requires less system resources than a RichTextBox and it is ideal when only plain text needs to be edited (i.e. usage in forms).
Modifying text boxes Select the text box you want to change. On the Format tab, click the More drop-down arrow in the Shape Styles group. A drop-down menu of styles will appear. Select the style you want to use. The text box will appear in the selected style.
In the Rich Text Box Properties dialog box, click the Display tab. To enable or disable full rich text formatting for the selected control, select or clear the Full Rich Text (images, tables, etc.) check box.
Change a field to rich text Under Field Properties, click the General tab. Click the Text Format box and select Rich Text. Save your changes.
How to convert your PDF to an RTF. Open your PDF. Click Tools Export. Select RTF for your preferred file format. Export, save, and share.
If the Controls task pane is not visible, click More Controls on the Insert menu, or press ALT+I, C. Under Insert controls, click Rich Text Box. In the Rich Text Box Binding dialog box, select the field in which you want to store rich text box data, and then click OK.
It is necessary to enable rich-text formatting in order to use multiple different text styles within a single text field. Open Text Field Properties dialog for the field and select the Options tab. Check the Allow Rich Text Formatting option and press Close button to apply changes.
After you insert a rich text box on a form template, you can customize it by changing its properties and settings in the Rich Text Box Properties dialog box. To open this dialog box, on the form template, double-click the rich text box whose properties you want to change.
