Covering EPS/XPS Styrofoam/Roofmate with epoxy resin Make sure the object is clean and dust-free. Mix epoxy resin with the corresponding hardener and apply it to the Styrofoam or Roofmate. Lay a glass fabric of your choice in the wet resin and apply more epoxy with brush or roller.
XPS is a perfect match for circular construction projects. After all, old XPS boards can be fully (and endlessly) recycled into new ones.
However, XPS is not easily degradable by microorganisms due to its features (lightweight, large size, corrosion and age resistance, and chemical stability). Thus, these traditional ways are not recommendable. However, there are many good reasons to recycle the foam boards of XPS.

The easiest thing to consider about the disposal of wallpaper paste is that throwing the wallpaper down the toilet or sink after it has been diluted is the most effective. You can also throw it away directly into the bin with the right container or wait for the paste to dry but the choice is up to you.
The XPS foam insulation boards mustnt contain nails/tape/wood pieces, or other things, as these cannot be a part of the recycling process. The collection of used XPS foam could be in a recycling station, where companies and private persons can drop off their used XPS for this material to be recycled.
